Some Ojibwe Indians in Minnesota are worried about the fate of the state’s wolf population, which is now being considered healthy enough for hunting and trapping.
500Nations‘s insight:
The wolf, in First Nation culture, respresents guidance, loyalty, order and community. By allowing the hunting and trapping of the wolf, they will be killing off a sacred member of many tribes.
